Chris Pfanner - Tree ollie, Cyrus. 2009

This was from a Vans trip to the island of Cyprus in the Mediterranean. I thought the trees mimicked Chris's hair so well that I didn't light it to let the graphic qualities of him and the spot stand out. Shot wide open with a Nikon 85mm f/1.4 - risky business but this wasn't too death defying for him so I didn't mind asking for another try if I needed it.
